Atharva Murali is an Indian actor who acts in Tamil films. He is the son of late actor Murali. He is entered the tamil cinema industry 2010. He was born on 7 may 1989. Atharvaa began his acting career with Baana Kaathadi (2010). He then garnered critical acclaim for his performance as a youngster suffering from delusion in the romantic thriller Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal. His next film Paradesi (2013). His role as a rural villager held as a slave in a tea plantation became his breakthrough performance, earning Atharvaa a Filmfare Award in the Best Actor category amongst unanimous critical acclaim. His most recent movie was director Sargunam's Chandi Veeran alongside actress Anandhi, which did well at the box office. Atharvaa currently has three films under production, with Eetti, a sports drama film produced by Vetrimaaran, most likely to be his earliest release. He has also shot for the thriller Kanithan in which he features alongside Catherine Tresa and the film is slated for release in October 2015. He has also signed for new production house Kleem Entertainment's debut movie Rukkumani Vandi Varudhu opposite debutante Pooja Jhaveri. In January 2016, he announced that he had set up a production studio called Kickass Entertainment. The first film under his banner would be directed by Badri Venkatesh, who had introduced Atharvaa as an actor.
