Bharath Srinivasan is a Indian tamil actor was born on 21st July 1983 in "Trichy". He was born in a middle-class family. He is entered the tamil cinema industry 2003 and first film Boys. His father, Srinivasan, is in the Computer Field and his mother, Lakshmi, is a housewife. He also has a younger sister. But later moved to Chennai when he was one month old since his dad got a job here. Bharath did his schooling from DAV. His mother tongue is Tamil. 


His works include Boys (2003), Chellamae (2004), Kaadhal (2004), Pattiyal (2006) and Veyil (2006). He debuted in the movie Boys directed by S. Shankar. The film was a musical hit and it fared well in box-office. He then acted in the remake of the Malayalam film 4 the people, which was a musical hit and a blockbuster in Kerala and later it dubbed into tamil as 4 Students. Later that year, he played the antagonist role in the Tamil film Chellamae. Kaadhal was well received everywhere and his performance as the naive but sweet lover was highly praised. His film Pattiyal, brought him even more great recognition for playing a dumb and deaf lover. Chellame was another hit movie which he acted with Vishal. February 14 was released in the same year with Em Magan which was a family drama directed by Thirumurugan reached the family audiences well and his next releases are Chennai Kadhal and Veyil both released on December 8, 2006.

He has received great accolades for Veyyil, which also emerged a commercial success and was selected for screening at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. Following Veyyil, Bharath experienced a setback in his career as his subsequent releases with the exception of Pazhani proved to be commercially successful. Koodal Nagar, was released in 2007 in which he portrayed a dual role. In 2008 he appeared in Perarasu's Pazhani alongside Kajal Aggarwal and Kushboo, following which Nepali, directed by V. Z. Durai was released. That year he had two more releases, Muniyandi Vilangial Moonramandu, which saw him collaborating with the Em Magan team again, and Hari's Seval. In 2009 he acted in Arumugam, directed by Suresh Krishna and Kandein Kadhalai. The latter featured him in a totally contrasting role as a rich businessman, and became his only commercial success in two years.

In 2010, he had a single release with Thambikku Indha Ooru which became a critical and commercial failure. In 2011, he appeared in the multi-starrer Vaanam as Bharath Chakravarthy, a guitarist. Post-release, Bharath clashed with the producer and another actor in the film, Silambarasan, claiming he did not receive as much promotion and publicity as Silambarasan's character. His next film, the romantic comedy Yuvan Yuvathi co-starring Rima Kallingal, was followed by the action-masala film Thiruthani co-starring Sunaina. He was also appeared in a guest appearance in Vasanthabalan's Aravaan.Bharath was signed on to play the lead role in mid-2010 for 555 and in interviews since signing the project, he has expressed how important the film will be to his career. The shoot of the film began in June 2011. Bharath is sporting six-pack for the film. After this success he also ready to do his first debut in Bollywood movie "Jackpot".
