About Me

Kishore was a student of (AU) National College, Bangalore, where he started off with theatre doing plays in Kannada such as Teregalu and Samrata Ashoka. He then did his masters in Kannada literature from Bangalore University. He took up teaching in a college in Bangalore where he worked for two years and then as a part-time fashion designer worked under fashion designer Vidyasagar, a professor from Indian Institute of Fashion Technology (IIFT). He was born on 14 August 1974 in Karnataka. He entered into Tamil industry in the year 2004.

His film debut happened in the year 2004 with Kannada movie, Kanti. He worked as a costume designer for the same movie for which he got a state award also. Next year, he won Karnataka State Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for the movie, Raakshasa. Kallarali Hoovagi, Kannadada Kanda and Duniya were his next released Kannada movies. He debut Telugu with Happy in 2006 and Tamil with Polladhavan the following year, for which he won Vijay Award for Best Villain. Thus he established himself as a noted villain of Tamil movies in the recent times.

In 2014, he appeared in Ulidavaru Kandanthe, playing the role of Munna, another role that won him praise from critics. In 2015, Kishore got his Tamil movie "Thilagar" released. Kishore's acting in the movie was praised by critics though the movie was not very successful in the box office.
