About Me

         Tarun was born January 8, 1983 in a Telugu hindu family, he is a south indian film actor and is the son of Roja Ramani (Telugu/Tamil/Kannada actress) who works in the Telugu & Tamil Cinema. He came to prominence as a child artist in Mani Ratnam'sAnjali. Tarun acted as the elder brother of the mentally challenged Anjali, earning him and his co-stars, Shyamili and Shruthi, National Film Award for Best Child Artist in 1991. He reappeared on the movie scene as a hero in 2000 with a hit in his debut venture - Nuvve Kavali. He has acted in many Telugu movies as well as acted in Tamil movies. He is the elder son of Oriya actor Chakrapani Savvana Bhatti and Telugu actress Roja Ramani. He is an accomplished cricketer and participates in Celebrity Cricket League. He then appeared as child artist in super hits such as Manasu Mamatha (1990), Surya IPS (1991), Aditya 369 (1991), Teja (1992), My Dear Muthachan (1992), and Johny (1993).
