About Me

        He entered film industry in 2002 as an actor through the film Red in which he performed in a minor role of District Collector. He re-entered in 2006 as an executive producer. He got a breakthrough after acting in the film Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya directed by Gautham Menon produced by his own banner. Silambarasan and Trisha Krishnan played the lead roles in that film. He also performed the role of the fictional cinematographer in the film Kaakha Kaakha that made him add the prefix VTV with his name. He played the role of Bajanai Ganesh in the film Vaanam produced in 2011. He also was seen along with Silambarasan in the film Osthi. He produced the films Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu, Pachaikili Muthucharam, Vaaranam Aayiram, Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya and Vaanam. The film Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya was nominated for Filmfare Award for Best Film in Tamil.
     Some of the films that he has acted include Podaa Podi, Vettai Mannan, Vaanam, Ye Maaye Chesave, Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya, Pachaikili Muthucharam, Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu, Red, etc.
