She completed her higher secondary education at Sir Sivaswami Kalalaya School in Mylapore. When Plus Two CBSE results were announced on 28 May 2012 she was among the school toppers. She won many prizes and awards in school level and from many reputed institutions for music, sports, painting, Bhagavath Gita competitions and in Academics as well. Since school days she has been associated with music competitions and has won many achievements in academics as well as music performances. She also participated in sports, painting and Bhagavath Gita competitions. She started her training in Carnatic music under her parents at a very young age and became a dubbing artist at the age of 6.
She is a popular south Indian singer and dubbing artist. She predominantly works in Tamil film industry. She is the daughter of famous Violinist V.V. Ravi and Visalam Ravi. This voice actor has worked for more than 2000 jingles, apart from rendering her voice as a singer to 2500 jingles belonging to south Indian languages, Hindi and English. She started her career as a dubbing artist at the age of 6. Her voice has been featured in Album ‘Shout it Out’ conceived by UNICEF. She has also sung as a chorus singer during her early days. Noted Carnatic vocalist V.R. Raghava Krishna is her paternal uncle, under whom she has learnt Carnatic music. She also performed in various music programmes on television. Her solo songs for Tamil films - Mainaa and Muthuku Muthaaka were well appreciated.
